DISCONTINUED ITEM- Replacement Model: AEMC 6292 (2129.83) Digital Micro-Ohmmeter, 200A
The AEMC® high-current Micro-Ohmmeter Model 6290 is a microprocessor-controlled instrument that’s portable. It has optimized protection and filters for electrical substation measurements. The Model 6290 can be utilized to make accurate measurements of extremely low contact resistances of high-voltage circuit breakers, busbars, switches, etc., with test currents up to 200A. It employs the 4-terminal Kelvin method to stop errors caused by test leads as well as their contact resistances from happening.
Measurement accuracy’s certain through a cutting-edge signal amplification system, offset-free with high long-term stability. Resistance readings are indicated in the alphanumeric display with a digit resolution of up to 4½. It lets measurement resolution of 0.1µΩ, and resistances up to 20mΩ.
