Reed R7150 Professional Combination Contact / Non-Contact Laser Photo Tachometer

The Reed R7150 Combination Tachometer, is a quick responding and accurate dual function tachometer.   Featuring the ability to measure both non-contact and contact measurements.

This tachometer features both the ability to measure RPM (revolutions per minute) in rotational equipment and surface speed m/min (meters per minute) / ft/min (feet per minute) with included contact adapters. The built-in laser for non-contact measurement provides accurate measurements up to 6.5 ft (2000 mm) away from target.

Provides fast and accurate RPM measurements of rotating objects and surface speed measurements MPM (meter per min) and FPM (feet per min)

Internal memory recalls min/max and last value.  The large LCD Display reverses depending on the measurement mode.

Applications include:

To measure linear speed such as conveyor belt speed use a contact tachometer with wheel attachment. Place the wheel against the conveyor belt and the wheel will rotate at the same rate.

For non contact measurements, affix a piece of reflective material to the rotating component. Point the laser at the object to get a reading. If the component is rotating steadily, the tachometer will count the number of times it receives a reflected signal providing a reading in RPM.
