The Cooke cal-LIGHT 400 Digital Light Meter is ergonomically designed for easy operation. When held at arm's length in a comfortable reading position, the angled silicon light sensor is automatically positioned horizontally and allows simultaneous measurement and readout without interference from the operator. The silicon photodiode with photopic and cosine correction assures precise illuminance measurements from the lightsource or towards the object or area being illuminated.

The Cooke cal-LIGHT 400L Low Level Digital Light Meter is a standard lightmeter with an illuminated LCD display for applications requiring measurements under 3 lux. The silicon photodiode with photopic and cosine correction assures precise illuminance measurements.

The forward position of the Cooke cal-LIGHT 400F light sensor which was designed specifically for use in museums and art galleries, allows the user to accurately measure the direct light falling down onto a painting or any other works of art.
