The Clamp-on Meter Model 505 is a general-purpose professional instrument. Full ranges, quality materials, a strong mechanical case design, and compliance with quality standards and international safety ensure a reliable and professional tool. The Model 505 is auto-ranging, and measures DC and AC voltage, DC and AC current, continuity, and resistance.
The complete and large 4000-count LCD features comprehensive user interface symbols like a low battery indicator. It’s included with a Data Hold function, that freezes the measurement. The Model 505’s hooked jaw design is simple to maneuver in crowded breaker and wiring panels and is compact for comfortable one-handed operation. The jaw opening is 1.1" (28mm).
