AEMC 275HVD (2131.12) Non-Contact AC Voltage Detector, 275kV

The Model 275HVD is made to find the voltage presence with no physical contact.
An 8-position rotary switch chooses the range of the detection. As the sensor’s moved nearer to the conductor that’s carrying the voltage, its sensor head detects the radiated electric field. After it reaches the threshold, the sounds of the buzzer and a radiant red warning light notify a warning to the live conductor operators.
The Model 275HVD is activated by 3 standard Alkaline C cell batteries & could be utilized both out-of and in-doors. On the back-end, a universal spline eases attachment to any standard hot stick. A self-test position assures that every annunciator and circuitry is properly working prior to use.
